AEDC appoints Osadolor as board chairman

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has announced a new Board of Directors and Interim Management for the embattled utility. In a press release, AEDC announced the Board Chairman as Victor Osadolor (Chairman UBA Pensions) and Akinwumi Bada as the Interim Managing Director.

Other members of the Board include Alex Okoh, Atiku Abubakar Tambuwal, Sam Adikamkwu; a legal practitioner and former Chief Legal Adviser at United Bank for Africa (UBA); and Muyiwa Akinyemi, seasoned accountant and a current Group Executive at the United Bank for Africa (UBA).

The Chairman of the Board, Victor Osadolor, urged the utility employees to work for the collective benefit of the utility.
