EEDC enhances customer service, develops new app for bill payment, others

The Enugu Electricity Distribution PLC (EEDC) has developed a new application through which its customers can pay bills and access other services, easily.

The company disclosed on Thursday that the new application was developed to make most of its services easily accessible by customers, across its network.

Customers of the DisCo (Power Distribution Company) will now be able to pay bills, lodge complaints and follow-up complaints via the new ‘EEDC Connect’ app.

Announcement made by EEDC on the new app reads: “In our bid to consistently enhance customer experience and deliver superior service, we have developed an application to make you access our services with ease. It is called ‘EEDC Connect’.

“With this App, you can conveniently pay your bill or purchase a token for your prepaid meter.

“In addition, you can view your payment history, register complaints, and view your lodged complaint to ascertain its status using the App.”
