Sahara Group partners Edo Govt, NNPC to construct Ikpako-Ajoki road

Leading international energy and infrastructure conglomerate, Sahara Group, is partnering with the Edo State Government and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPC), to construct the Ikpako-Ajoki Road in Edo State.

The partnership is aimed at developing Edo State’s economy by aiding commercial activities in the state, through improved transport network.

Sahara Group will be facilitating the construction of the 17Km Road through Enageed Resource Limited, its upstream subsidiary operating the OPL (Oil Prospecting Lease) 274 obtained in 2007.

The Group via its official social media page on Thursday said: “The Edo State Government, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPC) and leading energy conglomerate Sahara Group through its upstream company, Enageed Resources Limited, have joined forces to drive the construction of a 17km stretch Ikpako-Ajoki road in Edo State, Nigeria to facilitate seamless trade and sustainable development.”
