Eko Disco pays courtesy visits to stakeholders to strengthen ties

The Management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company on Wednesday, paid courtesy visits to stakeholders in the power industry, including Iba Land, a community under its network.

Chairman of the EKEDC, Oritsedere Otubu, paid courtesy visits to offices of the Nigerian Electricity Liability Management Company (NELMCO), the Bureau of Public Entreprises (BPE), and other stakeholders in Abuja.

He was accompanied by a team of top officials from the Power Distribution Company (DisCo), including the CEO/Managing Director, Mr. Adeoye Fadeyibi.

Meanwhile, its Ojo District team led by the District Manager, Mr Osas Ugiagbe, also visited the paramount ruler of Iba, H.R.M Oba Sulaimon Adeshina Raji-Ashade, Oniba Ekun of Iba Land.

According to the DisCo, the visit which was made to the palace of the Oba in the early hours of Wednesday, was geared towards strengthening ties with the people of Iba and helping to improve customer experience.

The team also seized the opportunity to introduce its new senior officials to the Oba.

“The visit was facilitated in order to further strengthen the relationship between our company, the King and Baales in and around Iba network.

“We have also used the opportunity to introduce our new District Manager, Commercial Manager and District Legal Officer to the King.

“We appreciated him for his support and cooperation so far,” the DisCo stated.
