Lagos-Ibadan passengers stranded , as train runs out of diesel

Hundreds of passengers aboard Lagos-Ibadan train operated by the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) were on Thursday stranded in the bush after the train ran out of fuel in a yet to be confirmed location.
The passengers also showed video when the officials of the NRC brought a diesel drum from the compartment of the train for refueling.
This was seen by EnergyDay in a viral post shared by one of the passengers via social media.
Efforts to speak with NRC proved abortive as at the period of filling this report.
