OPEC Fund seeks Country Manager for West, Central Africa region

The OPEC Fund for international development is interested in recruiting senior level personnel from Nigeria including the wider West African and Central Africa region, for the role of Country Manager. The role of the country manager is open to candidates from Nigeria and other West African and Central African region. OPEC said all eligible candidates are free to apply.
OPEC Fund was created in 1976 as a global development mechanism by member countries of OPEC and is focused on financing projects that meet essential needs such as food, energy, infrastructure, employment, clean water, healthcare, sanitation and education around the world, particularly, within the OPEC member States
The Country Manager leads and oversees the identification, development, appraisal, approval and implementation of Public Sector projects in cooperation with the Regional Director, OFID said in its information bulletin
EnergyDay gathered that interested applicants must have Master’s Degree or equivalent in Economics/ Finance / Engineering or other relevant fields or
a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, preferably, 2-3 years of experience in an international development finance institution.
In addition, applicants must have strong understanding of developmental project appraisal skills and knowledge application
