TCN restores power to Lekki, Ajah, VI axis, completes work on Ajah substation

Power has been fully restored to all the communities within Badare Sangotedo, Jakande, Chevron, Agungi, Lekki, and some parts of Victoria Island after the completion of maintenance work at Ajah Transmission Substation by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
Mrs. Ndidi Nmbah, TCN’s General Manager of Public Affairs, made this known in a statement obtained by EnergyDay on Friday.
EnergyDay on Tuesday reported the plan by the TCN to carry out maintenance work on the Ajah transmission substation from Wednesday, September 7 to Friday, September 9, 2022, between 7 am and 7 pm.
According to the TCN power was restored through the Egbin/Ajah 330kV line in Lagos State after the completion of maintenance work at Aja Transmission Substation.
Having completed the maintenance work, TCN said that bulk power supply through all the feeders supplying bulk power to Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) from the Ajah Substation, for onward delivery to EKEDC’s customers has been restored.
TCN commended the electricity consumers affected during the period of the maintenance work for their patience and understanding, promising to continue to do all it can to ensure stable and quality bulk power delivery to distribution load centers nationwide.
