The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe has committed to promoting inclusivity in the Nigerian oil and gas industry and pledged to implement an open-door policy, in line with the Board’s goal of achieving 70% Nigerian Content by 2027.
The new NCDMB’s ES made this known on Tuesday, December 2023 during his inaugural town hall meeting with the board’s management and staff at the Nigerian Content Tower, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa.
Engr. Ogbe, while praising the Board’s personnel for the NCDMB’s numerous accomplishments over the years, emphasised his commitment to strengthening the local supply chain and enhancing compliance with Nigerian content in the oil and gas sector.
He remarked that his goal is to collaborate with management and staff to elevate the Board to new heights in accordance with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He also emphasized his dedication to building a welcoming and accessible environment by instituting an open-door policy.
He further encouraged employees to increase their levels of commitment and dedication, underlining that safety and the well-being of employees are among his top concerns as the ES of the NCDMB.
This dedication, he stated, will aid in the achievement of the Board’s notable 70% Nigerian Content by 2027, which he characterizes as the collective responsibility of all, from the janitor to the Executive Secretary.
